Nvidia announced its next generation of graphics cards, the RTX 20 series. If you really can't wait, the new RTX 20 series GPUs release date is September 20 and you can preorder the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti, GeForce RTX 2080 and GeForce RTX 2070 founders' editions directly from Nvidia and other retailers. But they're expensive. And they're in and out of stock fast. In fact, mostly they're out of stock.
But Walmart dropped the price on a whole bunch of prebuilt gaming PCs with GTX 10-series cards. Is a GTX 1080 PC right for you? Obviously I can't speak for you, but I'm going to go ahead and say "yes," because the 1080 is a great card. There are other, cheaper options on sale, too, with other 10-series cards that can really make a difference in your gaming experience.
