Update 11/9: Though Disney initially only listed Avengers: Infinity War for a single Oscar category on its for your consideration website, it appears that an additional 10 categories have been included for the film. As before, Disney is pushing to get Infinity War nominated in the Best Visual Effects category, but has since included the categories of Best Director, Best Original Score, Best Adapted Screenplay and more.
Although Black Panther is still being campaigned for 16 nominations, it appears Disney is no longer pushing for its victories in favor of Infinity War. The original story follows.
