While there have been no shortage of Transformers or Voltron toys over the years, the iconic 80s robots haven't had nearly as many plastic model kit incarnations as their distant mecha cousins in the Gundam and Zoids universes.
At least, until now.
Thanks to our pals over at Bluefin Brands, who've been distributing Bandai Namco collectibles in North America, we got to tinker around with a pair of snap-together articulated plastic model kits based on Optimus Prime, beloved leader of the Autobots, and Voltron: Legendary Defender of the Universe who is more legendary for being made out of five robot cat vehicles driven by teenagers.
