Apple is unveiling the first details of its new, long-awaited TV streaming service. As the tech giant teased last week, the news is coming out of a press conference from the Steve Jobs Theater at the Apple campus in Cupertino, California.
Apple's CEO, Tim Cook, announced that the new streaming service will be called Apple TV+.
As previously reported, the announcement details the rollout of Apple's lineup of streaming TV shows. The biggest questions going into the Apple presentation were: How much will the Apple TV streaming service cost, compared to the likes of Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, and upcoming upstarts like Disney+ and WarnerMedia; and how will viewers access Apple's programming?
