The developer behind the Dishonored series, Arkane Studios Lyon, has revealed Deathloop.
Dishonored 2 is an incredible achievement in the genre - in our 9.3 review we called it "a remarkable experience" that "accommodates any type of chaos you choose to throw at it". We named it one of the best games of 2016.
The game's standalone expansion, Death of the Outsider also marked the end of Dishonored as we know it, which goes some towards explaining this move into new IP.
