The second season of Mob Psycho 100 returns today, and these images from the first episode show promise for it to be as expressive and intense as the first season.

The first episode throws Mob back into his part-time job with "psychic" Arataka Reigen, Mob's mentor and friend, and together they investigate a mysterious presence in a field. Meanwhile, Mob's school is suddenly in need of a new student council president.
Season 2 also features the return of the evil organization Claw as it moves toward its goal of world domination. Mob Psyscho 100 was one of IGN Anime Club's favorite shows. It was nominated for the Best of 2016 anime series award.
