Gemini Man comes out this Friday, but you probably won’t be seeing the true version of the movie. Director Ang Lee (Life of Pi, Hulk) shot the film in 120-frames-per-second, in 4K and 3D, all in the name of upping the realism between star Will Smith and the digital, de-aged clone of Smith, named "Junior."
Unfortunately, that high frame rate means only 14 U.S. theaters will be showing the movie at 120 frames-per-second, according to a report from Polygon. Even then, those 14 theaters will still only be running the movie in 2K, not 4K.
