Game of Thrones' penultimate episode, "The Bells," set a new record for the series across all HBO platforms (linear, HBO GO, and HBO NOW) with 18.4 million viewers this past Sunday.
"The Bells" surpassed "The Long Night," the episode that aired a couple weeks ago and featured the much-anticipated Battle of Winterfell, which held the previous series high of 17.8 million viewers.
Furthermore, "The Bells'" 9:00pm airing reached a time-period high for Game of Thrones with 12.5 million viewers, exceeding the 12.1 million viewers that the season seven finale earned in 2017.
