For a long time now shopping for a gaming monitor was a simple affair because there weren't a lot of options. Every monitor used to be just a rectangular-shaped and ran at 60Hz, so it was just a question of how big of a monitor could you afford and whether you wanted a 1440p display to be extra fancy. Those days are long gone now though, as nowadays there are almost too many options when looking for a gaming monitor. Now you've got monitors with options like high refresh rate, Nvidia G-Sync or AMD FreeSync, 4K resolution, and high-dynamic range (HDR). It's a lot to figure out, but I’m here to help.
