It’s become tradition for most Marvel movies to have no other competitors on opening weekend, which often leads to big debuts at the US domestic box office and then notable drops in their second weekends. But after just two weekends in release, Avengers: Endgame is already the second highest-grossing movie of all time at the worldwide box office and the ninth highest-grossing movie ever domestically.
But with a 59.2% decline from its record-shattering $357.1 million opening, Endgame also had one of the MCU's steeper second weekend drops ... not that it's anything for parent company Disney to worry about.
